iCare IC100 for all eye care professionals

iCare IC100 is a modern tonometer that meets the needs of ophthalmologists and optometrists in different medical institutions from small and large clinics to hospitals to optical shops. The tonometer is suitable for any, even your youngest or otherwise non-compliant patients. All iCare’s tonometers, including the iCare IC100, use patented rebound technology, which allows painless and hygienic IOP measurement without local anesthetic.

iCare IC100 is also an ideal tool for screening. Since increased IOP is a known risk factor for glaucoma, you will appreciate how quick and effortless the measuring is with IC100. The measuring is fast as there is no need for anesthetic drops or other preparation.

This device allows you to take single or rapid 6-series measurement with one button. iCare IC100 tonometer also has an advanced positioning assistant for correct alignment. The red or green light of a probe base indicates correct or incorrect positioning of the device.

Testimonials

  • In our study, the Icare ic200 overestimated the IOP. The overestimation increased as the baseline IOP increased. The agreement between the IOP measurement by GAT and Icare ic200 was <2 mm Hg at all ranges of IOP. The narrow limits of agreement between the tonometers for an IOP <21 mm Hg makes it a useful alternative to GAT in this pressure range.

    OPHTHALMOLOGY GLAUCOMA, August, 2020

  • There was excellent agreement between the IC200 and GAT tonometers, both in healthy subjects and PCG, with a trend to overestimate IOP when measured with IC200. There was no influence by CCT on IOP measurements in patients with PGC.

ARCHIVOS DE LA SOCIEDAD ESPAÑOLA DE OFTALMOLOGÍA, July 2020

  • Intraocular pressure (IOP) readings obtained by an iCare IC100 iCare tonometer in our study have shown reasonable concordance with Goldmann applanation tonometry (GAT). Overestimation of IOP measured by rebound technology as compared with GAT is directly proportional to IOP. As the Icare [sic] tonometer measured IOP with good accuracy, it may be considered as an appropriate method for clinical use in normal subjects and glaucoma patients.
